We need the parking spaces to park our cars.

Bend is tussling with how to keep traffic moving ahead of a gridlock scenario that's close to happening throughout Bend. So, not much sense to pave paradise and put up a parking lot, eh?!

I'm OK with the out door dining if, and ONLY if it's TEMPORARY. Things that are supposed to be temporary around here have a tendency to become permanent.

These greedy pigs who now want to use the streets are the same ones who were whining about the downtown festivals cutting into "their" business. If you close the streets, open them to the food trucks.

Greedy Pigs? Really? I think it's more about trying to survive than greed. You sir are a fool
People can ride their bikes or park someplace else and walk. It'll do you good.
ReplyNowadays we need more seats to sit down and eat so alfresco would be most welcomed to me! They could put up screens, tents, heaters. Would really be nice. Don't need parking unless for handicappers.
ReplyDining tables would still be limited because of social distancing so parking wouldn't be such a problem if there were fewer spaces.
