If we all stay locked up our immune systems will plummet. I believe we should always take precaution but also not live in fear.

If you don’t want to get infected, stay away from the parks. If you don’t care or don’t think it’s a problem go right ahead and enjoy those parks. It’s not the government’s job to close the parks

Getting outside is important for people’s mental and physical well being as well as immunity boosting. Terrible idea to close trails, etc. where it is very easy to keep a safe distance from others!

It seems like parks, hiking, and camping is the very definition of social distancing. Getting outdoors is the best thing we can do for ourselves right now

Outside, fresh air, easy to keep social distance sounds like a good way not to go stir crazy.

I live in NWX and at Discovery Park, people mainly do their walks or walk dogs and maintain social distance or sit on the lawn and sun away from others. I've seen no social gathering, so it's good.

It's ridiculous. You don't go to a park to rub shoulders with others, you go to get out and get some fresh air. This whole thing is becoming an exercise in finding out how much control they can have.

I’m assuming that social distancing would be respected, so how better to get out of the house and use up some energy. Must have social distancing though. Move aside on a trail, etc.

Keep your distance. Its outdoors. Healthy... nothing better than getting fresh air and excercise.

The state refused to keep people and businesses safe. Someone needed to step in.

They have the right to demonstrate but they do not have the right to damage or destroy. Apparently local enforcement couldn't handle it. Stop it asap

Trump is agitating the situation. If Gov Newsom had thought it necessary he would have called them in. It was not Trump’s decision to make. Trump is merely trying to take over California because it is a mainly democratic state and he considers its citizens enemies

He's mad because California has never voted for him. Dictators do what Dictators do.
