No public funds should be spent on riverfront development without proof of a return on investment and proof that the ongoing flooding problems have been eliminated.

His actions are a heavy-handed intrusion into a very localized event. Moreover, it’s the height of hypocrisy for him to claim he is putting down rebellion. We all remember the Jan. 6 attack in the Capitol and how he pardoned all those who had been convicted.

The only way for St Joseph to become prosperous and have more monies for the things that are needed, building the Riverfront will bring in tourism. I love the town/city and want to see it prosper.
