Both are utterly divorced from the real world, but then again virtually all sitcoms were in those days. I guess the AG show was a little less ridiculous, a little more pseudo-grouneed. But the Beverly Hillbillies was like an acid trip... with Civil War reenactmento, visits to an English castle, etc.

This show made me want to learn how to whistle 🎶

AG had more heart and was not as corny. I mean, both had plenty of corn, bu BH seems more one-dimensional.
