Visions is cool, but I think What If has better plots and more interesting character work, I liked them both but I'd rather watch a What If episode over a Visions one anytime of the day
I think Visions takes more chances and is more interesting as an anthology than What-If which tries (and ultimately fails in my opinion) to explore its universe and characters in new and provocative ways.
I love both deadpool films but it's no contest. First film has all 4 players that make it perfect. Reynolds, Tim miller and both writers Reese & Wernick. It's this lovely testament to the character I followed the production of for 7 years. If it was a one and done I'd still be very happy w/ it.
It subscribes to the old sequel school of just being the first movie again, but bigger! However, in the case of Deadpool 2, I just found the jokes to be funnier.
It's a hard choice, both are great in my book, but Deadpool 2 has Cable and Domino, it speaks volumes of Brolin's professionalism and acting chops that he did such a great job with a character he didn't seem to care that much about behind the scenes, Beetz was great too.
Visions is just style over substance, there is not meat on the bones.
ReplyBoth are great, don't get me wrong, however What If has cooler characters and better stories
