people who hold up an entire line of cars because they're doing their own business in their cars at a light are just rude, inconsiderate, and selfish. try to think of others for a change.

I don't drive anymore, because it makes me nervous. When I was driving people were talking & texting, not paying attention, doing drugs, & drinking alcohol, etc. It is Very Frustrating!!

No excuse to not go when the light changed....You only think you can text and drive...You can't and one day it may cost an innocents life or a whole family's....STOP texting..

People get on their phones and do not pay attention. So I remind them that there are people behind them.

Everyone should pay absolute attention while driving, if not then you're being irresponsible!

Especially when I'm in a hurry. Plus, these people are probably busy texting. Put the phone away please.

Especially when it looks like they're looking down - I'm guessing they're looking down at their cellphone - unconcerned that it's against the law, unconcerned about others.

You should be able to decide what to do by then.

I look both ways to be sure everyone has really stopped for their red light. Many years ago someone didn't stop for their red light & totaled my car.

I may not be able to see what they see ahead of them, and I have no way of knowing what's going on for them.

I don't drive, but if I did, I'd drive really careful. I care more about my car than my own life.

They may be a new driver, an older person or not sure of where they are. Either way, I am not in so much of a hurry that I feel the need to blast someone

Too many people beep the SECOND the light changes. I once witnessed a many getting out of his car and throwing his drink on the car behind him because the driver beeped the second the light changed.

Unless it is someone who has been weaving in and out of traffic. Then I am tempted to honk the moment the light turns green.

I don't honk at all. After 1 minute, I presume that they died and I get out of the car to see if they are dead. Sometimes a person has a serious problem with their car, e.g. gas, battery. Honking

3 seconds is just impatience not to mention rude. We are just used to zooming here and there, but if you actually walked where you had to go, you'd appreciate sitting in a car.

3 seconds is rude? If the driver is focused on the light, when it turns green why wouldn't they immediately give it gas?

I wait in case they - like me - might have my thoughts elsewhere.

I am from the South (Knoxville TN) and almost no one honks here at a green light. Yes, the driver could be texting or there could be a good reason she is not moving into the intersection.

You can't see why they are waiting. Maybe there's some crossing the street or an emergency vehicle coming. Have some patience.

People may use that brief moment to check something out. Honking as soon as the light turns is rude. No one should be in that big of a hurry.
