I feel like one of the lucky ones, didn't lose my job, didn't get sick and actually saved alot of money by not going out or travelling as usual. And as an added bonus, got stimulus money to upgrade my house a bit!

I went out on a loa from work just before covid for my personal mental health and i believe that covid helped me focus on that instead of taking the time off for granted and with everything locked down i was able to better my relationship with my kids and husband and get my depression under control

Both my 20-something children are home with me because of COVID, so we've been able to spend much more time together than we otherwise would have. I was able to get unemployment then adjust my job, so it has worked out well for me.

I was diagnosed with cancer early February 2020. This required lots of down time to heal properly and deal with the repercussions. The contract restrictions saved me fr9m visitors that mean well but need privacy as I manage my new lifestyle.

Our work hours didn't drop and we couldn't go anywhere, so we had less essential spending. None of us got COVID. With an inheritence months before and 3 stimulus, 2 tax returns, and a bit of a larger annually raise than normal during, we have plenty. Our buying's for present and future need needs.

Really kind of a draw - as retirees we're lucky. We haven't been able to be with friends and family or travel as we would like, but on the other hand it has given us more time to do things together. We have for example learned to sing harmony together.

Being in lockdown was almost a relief for me - I prefer solitude to group activities so I no longer had to beg off of invites to large gatherings. I became a better cook and I exercised more with walking my dogs more frequently. Only negative was missed sseeing my daughters in person.

Horrible. Isolated us. Kept us from our loved ones. Negative media, nonstop. Worst year of my life. Husband scared by all the hype. worry about small businesses in our community, grandkids not going to school.

No travel, no restaurants, almost no family visits, a season of no baseball games except TV. Not good. Minor positive: weekly family video chat.

At first very scared. Tired of waiting in line to get into the supermarket. Cooking more & gained weight. Missed my friends and activities.

Actually, it's been both positive and negative. I miss friends, dining out, shows, and travel. On the other hand, there are more opportunities online. I can watch virtual shows and concerts from distant cities. I have toured places you can't get to in person.
