Right now is when the change is really beginning . . . and at its peak the colors will be glorious!

I could never live in a state that didn't have a beautiful fall season. Anything else is a desert wasteland. Don't give me year round, dead brown (ahem...Southwest). I prefer the colors of life around me!!

I live in New Jersey, "The garden state". People in central and south Jersey are very particular about about lawns, gardens, and everything green. Up in north Jersey it's mostly urban, so the only plants up there are potted.

It's just getting started in SE Wisconsin. A few more weeks and it'll be gorgeous.
ReplyTampa has summer for six months, then spring for six months.
ReplyI live in the AZ desert. Driving an hour or two to see foilage in the North just has never seemed that important to me. Maybe if I lived back east. The pictures look pretty spectacular in some places.
ReplyI live in Nevada, most people have ever greens. The decorative lemon tree we have (which feeds birds and not us) drops all of its leaves in one weekend. They're not beautiful enough to make up for the nuisance of all the raking.
