Always willing to pay for important things like education and universal health care. Unfortunately, on a national level, these services must compete with military spending and war mongering.

Unless you have been in the classroom you have no idea what these professionals face. We need to get there monthly incomes up to as part of a lead into PERS reform as well.

National comparison shows oregon teachers are in the top 15% but our graduation rates are near the bottom. Money WILL NOT fix the problem.

No--- Oregon needs to solve PERS draining of Oregon taxpayer money. I would love to recieve a guaranteed 10% kickback from Oregon taxpayers regardless of a recession or not. STOP PERS !

Budgets need priorities and education should be #1 … there are sufficient dollars especially with the lottery paying so much (that has allowed legislators to take education funds and use them elsewhere

They only teach what the government tells them to. Also, figure out where all the money we already pay in taxes is going and you will find waste that can be then cut and that money go to teachers.

The state refused to keep people and businesses safe. Someone needed to step in.

They have the right to demonstrate but they do not have the right to damage or destroy. Apparently local enforcement couldn't handle it. Stop it asap

Trump is agitating the situation. If Gov Newsom had thought it necessary he would have called them in. It was not Trump’s decision to make. Trump is merely trying to take over California because it is a mainly democratic state and he considers its citizens enemies
