If Alcohol is legal and socially acceptable(even thought it destroys lives daily) then cannabis should be 100% legal since its 10,000x less harmful and has legitimate medically benefits..

Tax revenue, lower cost on criminal justice, and a huge hit to illegal drug traffickers. What's not to like?

It's OK for medical purposes, but not for general use for several reasons: effect on children, especially edibles, driving dangers or way use of equipment, no way to measure impaired judgment etc. etc

We've known for decades that MJ leads to other drugs. Why make it easier to do that. I am all for Medical MJ but not recreational. I have seen too many stupid things done by people when high on it.

No good can come from legalizing a mind altering drug.

The state refused to keep people and businesses safe. Someone needed to step in.

They have the right to demonstrate but they do not have the right to damage or destroy. Apparently local enforcement couldn't handle it. Stop it asap

Trump is agitating the situation. If Gov Newsom had thought it necessary he would have called them in. It was not Trump’s decision to make. Trump is merely trying to take over California because it is a mainly democratic state and he considers its citizens enemies
