Kids only get to be little for a very short time. I think it's imperative to let them enjoy being children while they can! They grow up way too fast as it is.

Let them be kids for as long as possible!! They grow up too fast as it is. Sage Elementary doesn’t allow costumes either but my middle schoolers and high schooler was allowed to dress up.

You’re only a kid once... let them enjoy it while it lasts.

Live is distracting. Let the kids learn to deal with them.

Why not? OR is already in 48th place among the 50 states in ranking. They are allowed in many states with much higher school rankings besides the worst that could happen is OR take over 50th place.

School already can be a place of "have-to-be-there," so why not try to engage / excite students who might not be engaged / excited otherwise. It may even help with the bulling epidemic.

Yes it is for fun and the kids and most adults love it. It is a great excuse to do something fun and different from the ordinary. Love the creativity it brings out in kids and adults.

The state refused to keep people and businesses safe. Someone needed to step in.

They have the right to demonstrate but they do not have the right to damage or destroy. Apparently local enforcement couldn't handle it. Stop it asap

Trump is agitating the situation. If Gov Newsom had thought it necessary he would have called them in. It was not Trump’s decision to make. Trump is merely trying to take over California because it is a mainly democratic state and he considers its citizens enemies

He's mad because California has never voted for him. Dictators do what Dictators do.
