Everyone needs to open up their front and backyards to pitching a tent for the houseless. Share, the kitchen, fridge, bath, den, office......leave the back door open for convenience, if you're lucky have your children tutored by a well meaning waif. Your home will become there's. Awwwwww!!

We have to do something, but the real problem is the left and just look at Seattle for example, the criminals and homeless criminals have all but taken over the city! This because the left is weak on criminals and hard on Americans! Lets vote the horrible Dems out and get America back!!!

So that trash doesn't build up it safe and keeps the community from freaking out. A place to put a trailer for homeless people with access to dumping and water and electricity. Some homeless need a place that is safe and worry free. Go out and talk to the the homeless and see what they need.

City of Bend is taking steps--albeit baby steps--but an old motel is being converted and 3 managed camps are in the works. Will help only 10 percent of our unhoused population, though.

We need a controlled area to help keep the trash down. There could be people in charge of directing disposal of unwanted items, trash and out and out garbage. Supply areas for hand washing, showers, and laundry.

If you can’t afford to live here, don’t intentionally come here. Before institutions were done away with, all of these people had everything they needed. Now they have no meds, no beds and no food while they are allowed to fill up our streets.

The state refused to keep people and businesses safe. Someone needed to step in.

They have the right to demonstrate but they do not have the right to damage or destroy. Apparently local enforcement couldn't handle it. Stop it asap

Trump is agitating the situation. If Gov Newsom had thought it necessary he would have called them in. It was not Trump’s decision to make. Trump is merely trying to take over California because it is a mainly democratic state and he considers its citizens enemies

He's mad because California has never voted for him. Dictators do what Dictators do.
