Yes but its only part of the solution. The left does everything backwards! When you take God out of America guess who people follow? When family values are discouraged, anarchy arrives! The un Godly act un Godly! These are the core issues and the left supports all these un Godly positions!

Government never solves problems I doubt they will get this right. Enforce laws and bring back death penalty with Public Hangings thats a good start

It won't make a dent until we have reasonable gun laws.

We cannot "solve" gun crime until we address the material inequity, the horrible healthcare system, and the alienation inherent to late stage capitalism. We also need to get rid of ALL weapons of war in this country.

They are NOT banning guns from EVERYONE. You can still own guns. But why do you need ARs and other large capacity guns? They are not taking our other guns away. They say "you can't have" so that is what you want?

The problem is that ppl buy and own weapons of war--weapons who's only purpose is to kill a lot of people quickly. Mental health is a separate problem.

Only criminals do that not law abiding citizens so banning guns from everyone is not the answer

Hmmm Oregon laws are exactly what the fed wants Weapons of War are not for sale anywhere in the US legally Unless you are one of the 1% who gets a permit to own one. Put away the Coolaid.

The state refused to keep people and businesses safe. Someone needed to step in.

They have the right to demonstrate but they do not have the right to damage or destroy. Apparently local enforcement couldn't handle it. Stop it asap

Trump is agitating the situation. If Gov Newsom had thought it necessary he would have called them in. It was not Trump’s decision to make. Trump is merely trying to take over California because it is a mainly democratic state and he considers its citizens enemies
