Absolutely I'm worried they will shut everything down. How are we supposed to homeschool our kids when both parents work? My son loves school and really thrives- he will really suffer mentally and emotionally with another shut down.

Schools should not be closed down, kids are less affected by this, and I think teachers should stop indoctrinating kids also

I am worried they will shut down the schools, I am not at all worried about COVID hurting my kids, or other kids. This virus is no longer novel, but rather seasonal/endemic, yet the scared policy-makers are treating it as though it is novel. We need to move on... no masks, no quarantine.

The kids need socialization more than to be "protected" from COVID-19, something that represents essentially less than 0.05% risk to them even if infected.

No, it doesn't concern me.

It may be wishful thinking but I hope not. Our children need to be in school. Last year is lost. It will not be made up. They can not afford to loose a second year.

Because my teen is already enrolled in online school. We didn't want to be anywhere near the school this new year with all the craziness goin on. Our teen also wanted to do online school because he came home from school every day last year with a headache & extra tired from the masks.

Hopefully more parents will embrace home school for their children.

The state refused to keep people and businesses safe. Someone needed to step in.

They have the right to demonstrate but they do not have the right to damage or destroy. Apparently local enforcement couldn't handle it. Stop it asap

Trump is agitating the situation. If Gov Newsom had thought it necessary he would have called them in. It was not Trump’s decision to make. Trump is merely trying to take over California because it is a mainly democratic state and he considers its citizens enemies

He's mad because California has never voted for him. Dictators do what Dictators do.
