RENT IS WAY TO HIGH FOR PEOPLE ON LIMITED INCOMES LIKE S.S.I, S.S.D, AND SENIORS! IT NEEDS TO COME DOWN TO NO MORE THAN $300.00. I LIVE IN MY CAMP TRAILER BECAUSE I CANT AFFORD RENT AND I AM DISABLED.

As a renter I am at the mercy of the landlord uping rent whenever and how ever much they want to. When living pay check to pay check and not getting enough to keep up with cost of living.

I used to have a friend that had 21 rental houses. He charged 1% above the cost of maintenance, and the house payment. Got the houses paid for, had good tenants.

Cap my investment and I will sell it off and invest someplace else. Rentals will decrease.

"Cap my investment"? Average person can't afford your rent as it is. 1000 homeless Veterans in So. Deschutes County, and all you want is more money.

. People with one low paying job can't even afford to rent a place on their own as it is. If you give them the excuse PM or landlords will raise It. Rent rates are not sustainable now.

Measures of this sort reduce the supply of rental housing. Rent control produces homelessness.

Eliminating the no cause eviction could be a problem for many landlords to get rid of possible drug dealers in an apartment setting.

Exactly as the article says. I am a landlord and I will be forced to raise the rent every year. I realize why "no cause" evictions would have to be restricted, but N/C helps the tenant!

My Landlord is all ready doing this every year and at 10% its the same amount they are doing. It dont solve anything cause this is all ready being done by landlords

Controlled rents will not add to the stock of affordable housing. Also, the limit currently being debated is quite high and does not provide a solution to those individuals and families In need.

Restrictive to investors. Market rent is market Rent. And what if the owner had a family emergency, needed to move into his place but had to pay relocate fees? Landlords will now max every yr

And that in the end will be worse than the every bbn other yr I see now as prevalent.

No cause evictions...so would you like us to write...you have 6 people living in unit, not on lease and you have caused 4k of damage and have police activity often...ha we cant write that.

Too much regulation just decreases the numbers of affordable rentals. Landlords should not be so greedy, but capping rents will cause more problems than it will solve.

The state refused to keep people and businesses safe. Someone needed to step in.

They have the right to demonstrate but they do not have the right to damage or destroy. Apparently local enforcement couldn't handle it. Stop it asap

Trump is agitating the situation. If Gov Newsom had thought it necessary he would have called them in. It was not Trump’s decision to make. Trump is merely trying to take over California because it is a mainly democratic state and he considers its citizens enemies
