Yes. I find it annoying. In most cities, walkers wait until traffic clears to cross a street. I have seen a few near-accidents with people suddenly stopping for a cyclist in roundabouts. Really dumb.

I have had drivers stop for me when I was just near a crosswalk. I have to wave them on as I did not plan to cross the street.

I believe the vast majority of drivers stop for pedestrians.

I got hit by a truck crossing the road December 20th of 2018 and broke my foot. It was so scary.

Absolutely not!!!! Most people don't realize that pedestrians have full right-of-way REGARDLESS!!!!! You clober someone with your car and watch your life melt away.

Every intersection is a legal crossing drivers don't stop where a crosswalk isn't painted on. Pedestrians have right-of-way as soon as they step into the street, even in middle of block.

Crossing in middle of a block is Jaywalking and could get the crosser mounted on a front bumper.

The state refused to keep people and businesses safe. Someone needed to step in.

They have the right to demonstrate but they do not have the right to damage or destroy. Apparently local enforcement couldn't handle it. Stop it asap

Trump is agitating the situation. If Gov Newsom had thought it necessary he would have called them in. It was not Trump’s decision to make. Trump is merely trying to take over California because it is a mainly democratic state and he considers its citizens enemies

He's mad because California has never voted for him. Dictators do what Dictators do.
