He'll be too loyal to his staff just like the last two fellas.

You've got to be kidding, right? Purdue, a 1-6 team only scored 55 points on Nebraska, if that's not getting it done I don't know what is! LMAO!

He should have done it in the first place.

There is ZERO chance Riley changes anyone. One or two might leave of their own volition (doubtful) but no way Riley changes anyone. He doesn't think it's the coaching.

relationships are not built in a single gathering. let's all take a deep breathe, relax and concentrate on the positives.

We have seen this before, BC hired his buddies and BP it was rumored would not change his final staff. Call it being stubborn or loyal to a fault. MR is not making staff changes with his buddies from OSU.

He brought the whole Oregon St group to NU do you really think he will replace any. It is obvious he should and replace his playbook as well. I am wondering if he knows how to call running plays haven't seen that yet. My heart goes out to these kids, the play calling is bad.

Not until the Head Coach gets together with ALL coaches and puts together an offensive scheme that fits the players, not the coach or his staff. They have the talent but they just don't have the plays to fit the players. Think Out-side the Box.

I don't think Riley sees anything wrong with what his team is doing. He doesn't see that they aren't using the players talents to the teams advantage. He doesn't see that the plays called are helping the team perform.

There is no reason for coaching changes at this time. HCMR was hired to do a job. Let him do it.

Do you think Trev Alberts was correct to push for the coaching staff changes before season end?

It was right to do sooner than later

Should have waited until season was over

The defense has made progress. The offense not so much. The real problem is Frost's dedication to Martinez. Adrian is a great guy, but his minuses exceed his pluses.

The production was there from those coaches. Better to make the decision then, so you can still have a positive impact with recruiting.

I imagine the transfer portal had a lot to do with the timing.

It had to be done and it clear that things are going to happen at NU.

The team was not going to become better with their existing staff. Make the cut and start improving.

If you are not going to make new hires before the end of the season anyway, what was the purpose in firing them now? It will be interesting to see how the offense performs, but I can't see this as beneficial.
