I am an optimist, I am a lifelong Husker Fan, I believe in Scott Frost and his staff. However, I think the players need to give all and that isn't happening...............yet!

As a manager, my region's morale skyrocketed when I weeded out the bad eggs. Same with a sports team. As kids leave, like Lindsey, the team gets stronger.

I don't believe they will beat Wisconsin, but I believe they will better and make improvements in reducing penalty yardage and special team mistakes. I expect a great effort by the Cornhuskers.

Reality bites, but its reality. We may win a couple of games down the road but next game ain't one of them. I do hope I am wrong . . .

This issues are too deep and long at this point. This is a two year overhaul project. However, Coach Frost will turn it around.

Diehard Husker fan here. But Wisconsin is too good and too disciplined ... not to mention playing in front of a raucous Camp Randall crowd. Steady improvement is what I'm hoping for from Nebraska.

It won't be changed that quickly. Offense and defense both need to play strong to win. It hasn't happened in the firsst 4 games.

Wisconsin is a far superior team than we are. My only hope is we can be competitive. We must be able to put some pressure on their QB, slow down their running game and give Martinez some time.

Winning the game Saturday will have less to do with the final score than it will be how the Cornhuskers take the field. The final score will likely not go our way. But our development could.

This team hasn't given me any reason to believe that they can put together a full game, especially against a quality opponent.

If you can't stop Purdue's offense there isn't much chance you can stop Wisconsin's. Wisc 49 Neb 17

Do you think Trev Alberts was correct to push for the coaching staff changes before season end?

It was right to do sooner than later

The defense has made progress. The offense not so much. The real problem is Frost's dedication to Martinez. Adrian is a great guy, but his minuses exceed his pluses.

The production was there from those coaches. Better to make the decision then, so you can still have a positive impact with recruiting.

I imagine the transfer portal had a lot to do with the timing.

The team was not going to become better with their existing staff. Make the cut and start improving.

If you are not going to make new hires before the end of the season anyway, what was the purpose in firing them now? It will be interesting to see how the offense performs, but I can't see this as beneficial.
