Anything will be better than the poor tackling technique they have been using.

Seahakws have consistently been either the top or top three defenses in the NFL year in year out since implementing these techniques. They don't seem overly complicated, just a change of pace. Good call.

Played rugby for several years, always told people football would do well to adopt the rugby tackle. You definitely don't go in with your head, like a dumb a$$, when you don't have a helmet. This should help prevent lots of unnecessary targeting penalties and head/neck injuries.

Have you ever seen some of the nasty wounds caused by Rugby? 70 stitches in a forehead. Just stick with what we do! It's football!

Do you think Trev Alberts was correct to push for the coaching staff changes before season end?

It was right to do sooner than later

Should have waited until season was over

The defense has made progress. The offense not so much. The real problem is Frost's dedication to Martinez. Adrian is a great guy, but his minuses exceed his pluses.

The production was there from those coaches. Better to make the decision then, so you can still have a positive impact with recruiting.

I imagine the transfer portal had a lot to do with the timing.

It had to be done and it clear that things are going to happen at NU.

The team was not going to become better with their existing staff. Make the cut and start improving.

If you are not going to make new hires before the end of the season anyway, what was the purpose in firing them now? It will be interesting to see how the offense performs, but I can't see this as beneficial.
