Without Ameer the offense will depend too much on Armstrong.

Tommy Armstrong is not going to be able to carry the team. He will need a great Amer to control the defenses concentration. Tommy will make to many mistakes and unless Johnny Stanton is ready to take over the offence we will need a great Amer.

Bo's defenses as of late have been downright offensive, so defense is more important than offense at this point.

if it's true that defense wins championships then by default, gregory is more important.

He'll be the leader on defense and set the tone. Ameer is great, but we're pretty deep at running back…not DE.

Randy Gregory is more important because players like him at his position are hard to come by and defense wins championships. I love Ameer Abdullah but we have backs behind him that can be weapons on our offense. We have a stable of running backs.

We have other running backs, not as good but there is more depth behind Ameer, then there is on the defense side behind Gregory.

We have a plethora of very good backs but are thin at defensive end.

Do you think Trev Alberts was correct to push for the coaching staff changes before season end?

It was right to do sooner than later

Should have waited until season was over

The defense has made progress. The offense not so much. The real problem is Frost's dedication to Martinez. Adrian is a great guy, but his minuses exceed his pluses.

The production was there from those coaches. Better to make the decision then, so you can still have a positive impact with recruiting.

I imagine the transfer portal had a lot to do with the timing.

The team was not going to become better with their existing staff. Make the cut and start improving.

If you are not going to make new hires before the end of the season anyway, what was the purpose in firing them now? It will be interesting to see how the offense performs, but I can't see this as beneficial.
