Considering we don't have an identity for the offense, coupled with new coaches this has to be the biggest question mark going into 2015. QB questions, running backs, receivers and now likely TE's in the mix it will be interesting what gets rolled out on September 5th.

Who will be the next starting QB? This is the biggest question the Huskers have this season.

Defense will be simplified and will let the horses run. Offense is about timing, and comfort in a system.

Seems that Riley and staff know more about offense than defense. Not sure what to make of the defense, but I felt that the Pelini ran defense required NFL caliber talent, and it was much too complicated. If it's simplified, I think our defense can be a strength. I just have more questions on this side of the ball scheme-wise. Offense I'm completely optimistic.

Too thin at linebackers and defensive end.

Because the D coordinator has a poor history of performance

Great defense wins game. More so than great offencse. The gret defense keeps th e other team out of th end zone.No scoring against your team.

You can have an average offense and still win a championship as long as you have a great defense! Defense wins championships!

Do you think Trev Alberts was correct to push for the coaching staff changes before season end?

It was right to do sooner than later

Should have waited until season was over

The defense has made progress. The offense not so much. The real problem is Frost's dedication to Martinez. Adrian is a great guy, but his minuses exceed his pluses.

The production was there from those coaches. Better to make the decision then, so you can still have a positive impact with recruiting.

I imagine the transfer portal had a lot to do with the timing.

It had to be done and it clear that things are going to happen at NU.

The team was not going to become better with their existing staff. Make the cut and start improving.

If you are not going to make new hires before the end of the season anyway, what was the purpose in firing them now? It will be interesting to see how the offense performs, but I can't see this as beneficial.
