actually voting for the 95 as per head to head, since player size and talent probably were better today as per in 71, since players start at age 5 nowadays. no offense to the 71 team. best in era.

Both would be a favorite of mine as it would be to most Husker fans, but the shear dominance, and depth of the 1995 team was something to be hold. Heck, even the QBs were interchangeable without loss.

The game would be interesting, but I think the 1995 team was bigger--it was a different time. So I pick 1995. Both had great heart, though.

The 1971 team was very good but all around the 1995 was and will always be the greatest college team of all time. None of the other NCAA football national championship teams would stand a chance.

Agree. Even though both teams had six players selected in the NFL draft. The deciding factor has to the Tommy Frazier who is ranked in the top 5 of the best quarterbacks to ever play in college.

Do you think Trev Alberts was correct to push for the coaching staff changes before season end?

It was right to do sooner than later

Should have waited until season was over

The defense has made progress. The offense not so much. The real problem is Frost's dedication to Martinez. Adrian is a great guy, but his minuses exceed his pluses.

The production was there from those coaches. Better to make the decision then, so you can still have a positive impact with recruiting.

I imagine the transfer portal had a lot to do with the timing.

It had to be done and it clear that things are going to happen at NU.

The team was not going to become better with their existing staff. Make the cut and start improving.

If you are not going to make new hires before the end of the season anyway, what was the purpose in firing them now? It will be interesting to see how the offense performs, but I can't see this as beneficial.
