Develop players. Year after year we get beat by teams we consistently out-recruit that develop players better.

I believe defense feeds on offense on Frost coached team more than the flip side. If the offense can move the ball consistently we'll have a great team next year.

To me, the game starts with D. Rock solid D will keep our team in most games.

To hang wt OSU and to finally beat Wisc again, we need a D that can compete and limit their offense. I think we will have a better OL this year & we have many skilled players on the O. Time defense..

Points on the board is fun, but defense wins championships. Play defense, and our offense will take care of itself!

We returned a lot more starters on offense than on defense, and at LB where we did return some guys, we weren't very good last year. D has a lot more work to do heading into the season.

Do you think Trev Alberts was correct to push for the coaching staff changes before season end?

It was right to do sooner than later

The defense has made progress. The offense not so much. The real problem is Frost's dedication to Martinez. Adrian is a great guy, but his minuses exceed his pluses.

The production was there from those coaches. Better to make the decision then, so you can still have a positive impact with recruiting.

I imagine the transfer portal had a lot to do with the timing.

It had to be done and it clear that things are going to happen at NU.

The team was not going to become better with their existing staff. Make the cut and start improving.

If you are not going to make new hires before the end of the season anyway, what was the purpose in firing them now? It will be interesting to see how the offense performs, but I can't see this as beneficial.
