We have too much offensive talent to have struggled moving the ball against some of the defences we have faced.

We need to stop the run better without giving up pass protection. In short our front 4 need to be more disruptive.

The front four D line gets carved up on the run. Don't know what is going on besides they are young. I am not buying that they just need to get a little more aggressive. Now the secondary seems to me they play too far off their receivers making it easy for a 10 to 15 yd. pass completion.

The defense still gives up too many big plays...a bend but not break defense will not fare well against Ohio State or Wisconsin.

Need a netter pass rush and tackling.

We aren't allowing the gig plays but are still allowing the chunk plays. Need to get our run defense to where they allow 100 yds or less.

Do you think Trev Alberts was correct to push for the coaching staff changes before season end?

It was right to do sooner than later

Should have waited until season was over

The defense has made progress. The offense not so much. The real problem is Frost's dedication to Martinez. Adrian is a great guy, but his minuses exceed his pluses.

The production was there from those coaches. Better to make the decision then, so you can still have a positive impact with recruiting.

I imagine the transfer portal had a lot to do with the timing.

It had to be done and it clear that things are going to happen at NU.

The team was not going to become better with their existing staff. Make the cut and start improving.

If you are not going to make new hires before the end of the season anyway, what was the purpose in firing them now? It will be interesting to see how the offense performs, but I can't see this as beneficial.
