Tougher because the thoughtless press has created turmoil. Something nobody wants to get involved in. The press has also succeeded in giving UN a black eye as they prostituted themselves to release a worthless piece of garbage story that was suppose to be confidential regardless of what was said. I say find the perps. if it was a player expose him. If it was a bug, prosecute.

It was an intentional act by Bo... and probably effective. An act to undermine the new coach, to cause uncertainty among players and 2015 recruits, and to indirectly give a "black eye" to NU.

Why can't the press just leave these secret recordings alone. Only cowards do don't admit they recorded something. It was a private meeting and should have stayed that way. The press are as worthless as politicians if we flushed them down the toilet nobody would miss either one of them. Let it die and move on end of story. Now this is going on just get behind Coach Riley and forget about the decision is made. You might not like Bo but he did settle things down after the last time. Did you forget that former NFL coach that lead us to 2 seasons with no bowls and a losing record twice.

All he has to do is be genuine with his players and the people who love NU Football. Be himself and the players who earn respect with in turn be respected

The more you know, the better you can address the issue. Riley has the info to help him recognize and understand player resistance that may arise.

Nobody ever said the Brothers were a class act. But I expected a little more. Already being admonished in the new job! CLASSY

Juvenile behavior is easily observable by everyone. Student athletes get it and parents certainly do.

Proves SE knew what he was doing and was classy about the reasons. That bodes well for working with him and shows Riley is a good fit for SE.

People will like his demeanor and the fact that the focus will be on what happens on the field of play, not the sideline or the opinion pages. He still has to win though.

Lets not judge. Evidence produced does paint Pellini as being rough and disrespectful. Face it the NCAA football family now knows more and he placed himself in a precarious situation within his career. As Huskers we are taught to forget the past, handle the present and prepare for the future. Riley is preparing for the future and we as fans need to support our kids in the present against USC. Challenge goes out to the entire Husker Nation, lets make the Holiday Bowl bleed RED in show of support for our kids.

The players are going to find out that Riley is much easier to get along with.

Do you think Trev Alberts was correct to push for the coaching staff changes before season end?

It was right to do sooner than later

The defense has made progress. The offense not so much. The real problem is Frost's dedication to Martinez. Adrian is a great guy, but his minuses exceed his pluses.

The production was there from those coaches. Better to make the decision then, so you can still have a positive impact with recruiting.

If you are not going to make new hires before the end of the season anyway, what was the purpose in firing them now? It will be interesting to see how the offense performs, but I can't see this as beneficial.
