Their alternate designs have been awful.

The school says they get more money from adidas, but there's no amount of compensation that can make up for the atrocious alts. Plus the regular jerseys have that awful stretch mark looking crap on them. Their brand is the laughing stock of college football right now. The fan gear sucks too.

The special uniform games have made the Huskers look ridiculous. One of the uniforms you couldn't even read the numbers.

In the eyes of recruits, Adidas is not as "cool" as Nike and UA. Adidas is losing its footing in college football with ND and now possibly UM bailing on them.

Nike is clearly the best option. Former Husker Paul Miles reps for them. No brainer

Just look at the design differences. I know Adidas has recently added some former Nike exec's but until they come up with something exciting they are nothing more than another dying company.

Unless its soccer Adidas is garbage. Kids don't like it its 3rd tier aperal at best. Nebraska deserves better preferably Nike but I'd gladly take underarmor as well

Who even still wears Adidas? Nike and even Under Armour are way ahead of the game. Even Michigan was smart enough to move forward and leave Adidas for Nike.

cheerleaders change their uniforms more often, basketball, baseball, probably bowling. Why not?

Change could result in more future choice on every renewal of contracts. We can be concern that the base uniform will always be there.

They really do not care about this side of the pond. I work with someone from the netherlands and he said as long as they have European soccer they could care less about American Football.

Nike designs are more innovative and just plain look better. I believe Nike resonates more as a brand than Adidas.

Although I do not like the Nike brand as much (maybe because I have been an adidas guy since I could remember) I think their uniform designs seem to be better, colors seems better, and the kids these days wear more Nike than anything.

I really want to see the black cleats return with the black tees under the jersey and black accessories, we look too much like Wisconsin, and we look soft with the red and white...what happened to scarlet and cream??? And stop with the alternate unis.....Oregon has cornered the market on that

Stay tradition. Don not need flashy. Do not need alternate uniforms anyway, get rid of them.

Adidas=more money. Nike does not pony up the cash for dear old Nebraska. The main reason is the potential in selling shoes. Our lack of big urban cities and population hurt shoe sales. Addidas is

Adidas NU unis the previous few years - disappointing. Do not understand trend toward smaller, uglier, wrinkly #s difficult to read on TV. Return to large numbers of yesteryear's 1994-97 unis when we were champs. Best ones ever. Agree - stiff-arm Phil Knight's anything goes for a buck empire.

Recruits 'might' look at uniforms but the N on the helmet means more. The Nike at uniforms are ugly. Just look at some of Oregon's overdone uniforms. I like the Adidas fan wear.

Do you think Trev Alberts was correct to push for the coaching staff changes before season end?

The defense has made progress. The offense not so much. The real problem is Frost's dedication to Martinez. Adrian is a great guy, but his minuses exceed his pluses.

The production was there from those coaches. Better to make the decision then, so you can still have a positive impact with recruiting.

If you are not going to make new hires before the end of the season anyway, what was the purpose in firing them now? It will be interesting to see how the offense performs, but I can't see this as beneficial.
