I think they should, with Jano as the lead blocker, squirt a back out of a hole, maybe this would help the "O" line out a little. if we were 8-0, this board wouldn't even be up........

I have a feeling no matter what they run, with this coaching staff it simply won't be enough.

Absolutely.... And mix in some speed option as well. Might try some wildcat. I can sit at home and tell you what's coming. If I can ... I know the opposition can.

No push from the line. They're soft. I also recall when Callahan arrived and everybody on the bandwagon that now we're finally to run the west coast offense. We're finally to catch up with everybody else. Yeah, now this question is asked. Fickle fans.

We don't have either the right running backs or offensive line strength to run the "I" with consistent success.

Do you think Trev Alberts was correct to push for the coaching staff changes before season end?

It was right to do sooner than later

The defense has made progress. The offense not so much. The real problem is Frost's dedication to Martinez. Adrian is a great guy, but his minuses exceed his pluses.

The production was there from those coaches. Better to make the decision then, so you can still have a positive impact with recruiting.

I imagine the transfer portal had a lot to do with the timing.

It had to be done and it clear that things are going to happen at NU.

The team was not going to become better with their existing staff. Make the cut and start improving.

If you are not going to make new hires before the end of the season anyway, what was the purpose in firing them now? It will be interesting to see how the offense performs, but I can't see this as beneficial.
