He should have been fired not only because of the football teams atrocious showings but for how awful he has done to the volleyball, baseball, wrestling and most every other part of the Nebraska programs

brought in a mediocre coach at best, and told us he was coming in to win NOW! Without even doing any kind of search! Then gave us a losing season! Not to mention being a Pearlman holdover who helped in bringing down Husker Football, just like his predecessor Pederson, was time for him to go!

Never like Eichorst from the start, then he fired Bo, and I was done with him, glad to see him go...

This is great news because he had no business not trying to lure a coach who has had great success before.

Not impressed with his hire for FB. Also Pearlman influence!! Bad!

Long over due, since about 2 seconds after he decided to replace a 9 win coach with a coach that is hardly over .500.

You do realize Riley is a 9 win coach as well, right? Or have you just come out from under your rock?

Do you think Trev Alberts was correct to push for the coaching staff changes before season end?

It was right to do sooner than later

Should have waited until season was over

The defense has made progress. The offense not so much. The real problem is Frost's dedication to Martinez. Adrian is a great guy, but his minuses exceed his pluses.

The production was there from those coaches. Better to make the decision then, so you can still have a positive impact with recruiting.

I imagine the transfer portal had a lot to do with the timing.

It had to be done and it clear that things are going to happen at NU.

The team was not going to become better with their existing staff. Make the cut and start improving.

If you are not going to make new hires before the end of the season anyway, what was the purpose in firing them now? It will be interesting to see how the offense performs, but I can't see this as beneficial.
