Our pass d has been bad and if minn can throw for 300 any team in our league can

I'm sure he'll have a career day, just like many others have had. This secondary has given me no reason to think otherwise.

every game this year the other teams QB's have had one of their best passing games ever

Yes they have, and not only that, but every one of them has looked like a Heisman contender against Nebraska's badly coached secondary.

The team will make the QB look like an all world player again.

I am going to guess, Northwestern has a break out day passing, if they don't, they lose.

If there is no pressure on the QB he will have a field day. I just wish our dbs would turn around when the ball is coming. That's on Banker to teach them to do that. I am so disgusted with the defensive coordinator it isn't funny. Bring back Charlie Mcbride.

We are going to run the ball and control the clock limiting there passing yards

I hope that is just under 200. They will likely have more success against us than their average, but our secondary played a much better second half against MN so Im hopeful it continues.

I think the defense steps up, plus Northwestern's passing numbers are not that spectacular.

If pressure is put on QB and DBs learn to turn around.

Do you think Trev Alberts was correct to push for the coaching staff changes before season end?

It was right to do sooner than later

The defense has made progress. The offense not so much. The real problem is Frost's dedication to Martinez. Adrian is a great guy, but his minuses exceed his pluses.

The production was there from those coaches. Better to make the decision then, so you can still have a positive impact with recruiting.

I imagine the transfer portal had a lot to do with the timing.

It had to be done and it clear that things are going to happen at NU.

The team was not going to become better with their existing staff. Make the cut and start improving.

If you are not going to make new hires before the end of the season anyway, what was the purpose in firing them now? It will be interesting to see how the offense performs, but I can't see this as beneficial.
