I was there and it looked better in person, with the intense wind. He just threw his hand up there and somehow caught it without really looking!

The ball was way high, and behind him a bit. Plus he was in traffic, which makes it pretty hairy.. And to top it off, he scored. Phenomenal.

There's been none better in Husker history (IMHO).

He ran a great route, jumped and had full extension just to reach the ball, caught and secured the ball and then accelerated into the endzone untouched. A very remarkable catch, with 4 defenders cover

Lets see, the leap higher than I am tall, the fingertip grab out of the air, the stride thru the whole play, it doesn't get any better!

it was a awesome catch in the open when he knew he was surrounded by defenders

The Catch in 1997 by Matt Davidson will rank as the #1 all time Husker Catch.. it won the 5th National Championship!

As great as it was, others have also made great catches. Just want to say, though, when it was caught, I was, totally, impressed and went nuts!! :) I do believe, it was the greatest by a Husker!!!

Davison's catch was better and meant more at the time. That's #1.

Do you think Trev Alberts was correct to push for the coaching staff changes before season end?

It was right to do sooner than later

Should have waited until season was over

The defense has made progress. The offense not so much. The real problem is Frost's dedication to Martinez. Adrian is a great guy, but his minuses exceed his pluses.

The production was there from those coaches. Better to make the decision then, so you can still have a positive impact with recruiting.

I imagine the transfer portal had a lot to do with the timing.

The team was not going to become better with their existing staff. Make the cut and start improving.

If you are not going to make new hires before the end of the season anyway, what was the purpose in firing them now? It will be interesting to see how the offense performs, but I can't see this as beneficial.
