A whole new mindset taking place. They will be coming out the gate WANTING to win!

Scott Frost, his staff, and the current players are going to do an outstanding job. They will win at least 8 or 9 games and go bowling.

Too much talent "in the pool" for Frost to come out flat

These national columns mean nothing. No where in the article will it ever mention Zach Duval and the return to Husker Power. No where does it mention how the players are motivated and excited by Frost's "Don't Fear Failure" philosophy. Plus, How about Bill Moos? Perhaps 7 wins?

I don't know for sure what to expect but I am optimistic. I think Frost and company are going to surprise some teams. Should be a fun year.

knowing that things are done in a vastly different way now alone is comforting

Not nervous about Akron, but overall very nervous. I just want them to make a bowl game.

Do you think Trev Alberts was correct to push for the coaching staff changes before season end?

It was right to do sooner than later

Should have waited until season was over

The defense has made progress. The offense not so much. The real problem is Frost's dedication to Martinez. Adrian is a great guy, but his minuses exceed his pluses.

The production was there from those coaches. Better to make the decision then, so you can still have a positive impact with recruiting.

I imagine the transfer portal had a lot to do with the timing.

It had to be done and it clear that things are going to happen at NU.

The team was not going to become better with their existing staff. Make the cut and start improving.

If you are not going to make new hires before the end of the season anyway, what was the purpose in firing them now? It will be interesting to see how the offense performs, but I can't see this as beneficial.
