Incredible stats for a walk-on RB.

hard to find speedy runniing backs to walk on during those days. 30 scholarships and 120 max meant there was little quality left to get studs like him to walk on.

While I.M. Hipp has the all time greatest name for a college football player and was a great runner, I think Tomich's impact was greater. He was a big part of those championship defenses.

He was a killer on defense and he wears an NC ring.

IM Hipp was good in his day, taking nothing from him. Jared Tomich was a beast on defense. Defense wins championships.

Seems to me to have had the better career. Without looking into stats. One offense one defense. So it could be a difficult comparison.

Dominating DE on a dominating defense.

Do you think Trev Alberts was correct to push for the coaching staff changes before season end?

It was right to do sooner than later

Should have waited until season was over

The defense has made progress. The offense not so much. The real problem is Frost's dedication to Martinez. Adrian is a great guy, but his minuses exceed his pluses.

The production was there from those coaches. Better to make the decision then, so you can still have a positive impact with recruiting.

I imagine the transfer portal had a lot to do with the timing.

It had to be done and it clear that things are going to happen at NU.

The team was not going to become better with their existing staff. Make the cut and start improving.

If you are not going to make new hires before the end of the season anyway, what was the purpose in firing them now? It will be interesting to see how the offense performs, but I can't see this as beneficial.
