Patrick is the first QB in years that throws while moving in the forward motion. He looked good against MN and really surprised us when running and scrambling. He needs a team to win but it can be done... GBR.

He will be fine. It's finally his turn, and he will show what he can do. Wouldn't it be fantastic if he pulled out an impossible win?!

He looked pretty good against MN but the line is so bad. If the line can give him any time I think he will do ok.

He holds onto the ball for way too long. PSU will be eating him alive all game

sadly, langsdorf will continue to place the team in jeopardy and Patrick will not be able to overcome langsdorfs pathetic attempt at being a coach. absent langsdorf and riley, Patrick will do fine.

The offensive line cannot or will not be able to protect him. Without protection Penn State will continue to sack him throughout the game. Otherwise I think that he would do ok, maybe 1 interception.

Poor OL and no running game. PSU can tee off from the beginning of the game going at the QB.

It won't matter who is Q-backing the offense. The O-line will still be the same.

If we cant beat Northern Illinois, Northwestern, or Minnesota, how the hell are we gonna beat an actual good team like Penn State or Iowa?

He's a step or two back from Lee with reading the D and getting rid of the football, so I think he'll take a lot of sacks. It's going to be a real ugly game I'm afraid. Maybe 100 - 0.

Do you think Trev Alberts was correct to push for the coaching staff changes before season end?

It was right to do sooner than later

Should have waited until season was over

The defense has made progress. The offense not so much. The real problem is Frost's dedication to Martinez. Adrian is a great guy, but his minuses exceed his pluses.

The production was there from those coaches. Better to make the decision then, so you can still have a positive impact with recruiting.

I imagine the transfer portal had a lot to do with the timing.

It had to be done and it clear that things are going to happen at NU.

The team was not going to become better with their existing staff. Make the cut and start improving.

If you are not going to make new hires before the end of the season anyway, what was the purpose in firing them now? It will be interesting to see how the offense performs, but I can't see this as beneficial.
