Unless there is dramatic improvement we may not see a single win this year. Huskers will be playing the same players, most of which do not belong in the big ten. An injury prone freshman QB as well

Unfortunately, yes. Tough road schedule. Don't lose hope though. I still believe in Frost in the long term and have no doubt he'll turn things around. Let's stay positive.

4-8 season, no chance of beating, MI, WI, OSU, MSU, IA, and most likely NW...that is 8 losses. Things will get better just not for a couple years with what Riley left Frost

Toughest schedule of any team ahead of our Huskers. May be a long year, but I am still confident BIB RED will be back soon.

We are 0-2 and very well could be 0-3 and we were planning on being 3-0 at this time. I have no idea what six teams we can beat to get to a bowl game.

2-4 wins but I still believe 100% that we have the right coach! This is a mess that will get cleaned up in a couple years.

It is not the coaching. Longtime downward arch for NE. Yet fans think one top 25 recruiting class, title here we come. the difference between top 5 and # 25 is huge. NE has been passed by period.

Best Case we get 4 wins unless we can address the deficiencies.

If this team can not stop getting in it's own way , which it doesn't seem to be able to do, it's going to be a very long year.

Adrian Martinez is a game changer period! He changes an entire game plan. clean up the mistakes and the horrendous special teams and we can make a run! HALE

They have a chance to right the ship if Martinez can play.

We knew this season was going to be a bear when it was announced. This year has had some mother nature that had a major impact on the results of the planned first three games. Scott is fine! GBR!!!

Not yet, but if they don't get Martinez back soon and make the penalties go away, they will keep losing unfortunately.

We are playing like we are stressed out...+ Bunch is a good kid but would not be starting at N or any D1.. right? Defense... out of position is I am guessing what Frost is mad about... just need 1 win

No, we are not in trouble.. You can't make a top 25 team in 6 months.. We have been a crappy team for over 10 years!

Riley was hired because, unlike Pelini, he was "nice," not because he showed competence. Scott Frost has a proven record at Oregon & UCF. SF has 51 new players. Improvement is real & on track.

The fans might be in trouble if they don't realize the depths from which Frost and his coaches have had to bring this program from after Riley. But the team is in good hands and better days are ahead.

Do you think Trev Alberts was correct to push for the coaching staff changes before season end?

It was right to do sooner than later

The defense has made progress. The offense not so much. The real problem is Frost's dedication to Martinez. Adrian is a great guy, but his minuses exceed his pluses.

The production was there from those coaches. Better to make the decision then, so you can still have a positive impact with recruiting.

If you are not going to make new hires before the end of the season anyway, what was the purpose in firing them now? It will be interesting to see how the offense performs, but I can't see this as beneficial.
