By mid season the O line will be much better than last year. There should be some holes to run through. If Newby continues to be tenitive, then Ozibo or Wilbon will take over. There's options that's why I think running game will be good.

Just seems better to have more than less at a highly injury prone position

NU has plenty of outstanding backs. Coach should use ALL of them according to their own skill sets. Do the "unantici- pated.

I guess since I am on the fence it is not a yes, but it is not really a no either. I wonder more about the line and the blockers who will make those running backs job a bit easier.

I don't think that Reggie Davis is a very good motivator. After having a motivator like Ron Brown it wouldn't surprise me to see a lull in performance until the backs adjust.

Do you think Trev Alberts was correct to push for the coaching staff changes before season end?

It was right to do sooner than later

Should have waited until season was over

The defense has made progress. The offense not so much. The real problem is Frost's dedication to Martinez. Adrian is a great guy, but his minuses exceed his pluses.

The production was there from those coaches. Better to make the decision then, so you can still have a positive impact with recruiting.

I imagine the transfer portal had a lot to do with the timing.

It had to be done and it clear that things are going to happen at NU.

The team was not going to become better with their existing staff. Make the cut and start improving.

If you are not going to make new hires before the end of the season anyway, what was the purpose in firing them now? It will be interesting to see how the offense performs, but I can't see this as beneficial.
