Everybody plays, all looking dominant, and then on to smash the Buffs. Sorry CU fans.

It’s South Alabama... We should see a marked improvement on both sides of the ball. May not be where we want to be yet, but it should be a great tune-up game for Colorado.

Hope I'm wrong, but this is the first game of the year, so not quite yet.

I am NOT voting on this side thinking the Huskers aren't there yet. I think they are. Frost & Co. will show future opponents the blandest of plays that will let us win this one. #BackupsAfter2

Do you think Trev Alberts was correct to push for the coaching staff changes before season end?

The defense has made progress. The offense not so much. The real problem is Frost's dedication to Martinez. Adrian is a great guy, but his minuses exceed his pluses.

The production was there from those coaches. Better to make the decision then, so you can still have a positive impact with recruiting.

I imagine the transfer portal had a lot to do with the timing.

The team was not going to become better with their existing staff. Make the cut and start improving.

If you are not going to make new hires before the end of the season anyway, what was the purpose in firing them now? It will be interesting to see how the offense performs, but I can't see this as beneficial.
