what happened last year had some disappointments along the way, those disappoints will all but be a faded memory with the West division title in 2016.......

I believe that the Huskers have the right tools in place to win the west division. They should have last year, but had some close calls. They will be more committed this year and also will have experience on their side.

I believe that they have superior talent than most of the Big 10 west, and are equal with the best. Where Nebraska stands out is with the coaching staff. Mike Reilly and his staff make Nebraska the best in the Big 10 west!

Because of some unbelievable bad luck and working on getting the team to 'buy in' to the Riley system, last season was a thud..... They are buying in, know what is wanted and to do - yes, a Big 10 West Championship and possible more.....

the steady improvement from 2015 will continue into this season. TA is a seasoned QB who now has a good backup which will let him use his legs more.

Couldn't even beat Purdue last year. Same coach and less experience in the trenches where it matters most. Probably gonna be another rough one. Maybe in 2017.

A rough schedule... I think NU is tied with NW and Wisconsin for 2nd behind Iowa.

Can they? Yes. Will they? I doubt it this year. Riley's going to continue to try to make Tommy Armstrong a dropback QB and NU a pass-first team. Maybe next year with a QB more to Riley's liking.

No depth or experience in the DL.

The problem lies more with the head coach. He does not know how to win a championship. Never did win one at Oregon State. Whats different now????????

Was Trev Alberts correct in keeping Nebraska men's basketball coach Fred Hoiberg for another year?

Do you think Trev Alberts was correct to push for the coaching staff changes before season end?

It was right to do sooner than later

Should have waited until season was over

The defense has made progress. The offense not so much. The real problem is Frost's dedication to Martinez. Adrian is a great guy, but his minuses exceed his pluses.

The production was there from those coaches. Better to make the decision then, so you can still have a positive impact with recruiting.

I imagine the transfer portal had a lot to do with the timing.

It had to be done and it clear that things are going to happen at NU.

The team was not going to become better with their existing staff. Make the cut and start improving.

If you are not going to make new hires before the end of the season anyway, what was the purpose in firing them now? It will be interesting to see how the offense performs, but I can't see this as beneficial.
