Half of playing defense is showing attitude and being fired up to play. This will help our players.

Yes. Weve needed this for a few yrs A coordinator to push the guys to new heights and show them what defensive football's all about. Between Diaco and Parella were now in good hands You'll see a difference!!

His style reminds me of Monte Kiffin when he coached for Bobfather.

The players seem to like him and his hands on approach and that's all that counts. I am excited for the defense this fall.

The Defense needs a leader who is a little unhinged.... Check

Bo pretty much fit that description --- he was a pretty good DC and a little unhinged! ;-)

sometimes, but not all the time, you get in a players face. i'm not sure banker could deliver a message that got to the soul of the defender, Dr. Diaco i believe will, just a hunch........

Defense is all about being fired up. Bringing that intensity in my opinion will only help to bring back the old blackshirt defenses!

Do you think Trev Alberts was correct to push for the coaching staff changes before season end?

Do you think Trev Alberts was correct to push for the coaching staff changes before season end?

It was right to do sooner than later

Should have waited until season was over

The defense has made progress. The offense not so much. The real problem is Frost's dedication to Martinez. Adrian is a great guy, but his minuses exceed his pluses.

The production was there from those coaches. Better to make the decision then, so you can still have a positive impact with recruiting.

I imagine the transfer portal had a lot to do with the timing.

It had to be done and it clear that things are going to happen at NU.

The team was not going to become better with their existing staff. Make the cut and start improving.

If you are not going to make new hires before the end of the season anyway, what was the purpose in firing them now? It will be interesting to see how the offense performs, but I can't see this as beneficial.
