Saving gas receipts could be a lot of work for not much payoff. This year's 2.5 cents would yield a reimbursement of $12.50 for someone driving 15,000 miles in a year in a vehicle averaging 30 miles per gallon.

I agree with the need for the gas tax increase. I disagree with the method it was achieved. Two votes that were misleading and that would send money to the State Patrol who already have a budget, with both votes being turned down by the citizens and then drove through by the Governor.

My time is more valuable than the time it would take to get $30 bucks back doing that, I would rather help my State.
If I have to pay more in taxes it only makes sense to get that money back
