The state of Missouri ranks dead last in teacher pay and state worker pay across the country. State workers, like me, are handed heavy workloads and have immense responsibilities in our work. While I love my job it is drastically overdue for state workers to recieve a raise to retain good employees.

You want services, the LEAST you can do is 1.5 percent below current inflation. They need more than 5.5 or it just kicks the can a few months down the road.

Yes they should. But it has to be greater than 7% inflation rate (and 7% is a bogus number.)

Corrections is the largest dept in the state. Yet they're the second lowest paid corrections dept of every state and has the 8th highest inmate population. They desperately need a raise

State employees are essential to keep the state going. Wages are going up every where the state should follow suit.

Because we are one of the lowest paid out of all 50 states and it is hard for us to find or keep good employees at our current salary.

With all the Biden inflation, caused by .gov printing trillions of dollars out of thin air in the failed COVID response, they need a raise. Gov workers with all their vacation days and great benefits should be paid less than the equivalent private sector job. I am not sure that is the case. LGB

Court clerks make on average just minimum wage. Some have 20+ years and not just anyone can step in and do their jobs if they leave. Treating our MoDot like their dispensable is deplorable. They actually risk their lives and take constant training to do their job.

As a state employee I can honestly say it is necessary if they wish for me to continue working for the State of Missouri. It is not a favor to give me a raise, but a requirement at this point. It is long overdue and will not be swept under the rug.

It's time that the public servants of this state had pay commensurate with other states this is why we cannot keep employees. When seasoned long term state workers can go to work at Walmart and make more money it's time to do something about the problem.

When you get a drivers license, you should also be administered a CCW and a 9mm.

No, because blue states give "illegal aliens" drivers licenses, without even having to take a test. Then they use the drivers licenses, as proof to vote.

60 Missouri Peace Officers Associations wanted to enforce illegal Federal Firearm Laws. More than 540 Missouri Peace Officers Associations disagreed. This is an attempt to override the 2nd Amendment. It's time to punish criminals, not law abiding Americans. Lets get rid of this phony administration.

It is the common sense answer, and the humanity based answer. Joe won't do it though. He stands to lose to much personal income.

We only bring in 3% of our fuel from Russia. The gas price hike is not because of the lies politicians are pushing.

We need to force oil prices upwards in order to unite behind the president's plan to ensure we all must purchase $60,000.00 electric vehicles, preferably non-American made,

Joe would demand we buy them from his blood brother, and joint businessman Xi Jinping. That way Joe gets his 10%.
