I think the answer is a yes & a no....many of these drive by/downtown shootings are not 'random'....especially the drive by shootings into residences.....until the public & homeowners step up this will continue...whether its revenge I would bet the victims are aware of their enemies.sadly iinnocents

The shootings have been mostly peaceful, except for times when someone got hit.

Heck no. They have not even been able to install the brighter lights downtown that they promised. The rate of growth of the non-police staff at City Hall has grown much faster than the police department over the last 30 years. This shows the Council's misplaced priorities.
