Commented "A city I lived most of my life in did what Bend is considering. It destroyed the downtown. Parking went from bad to worse. Panhandlers took it over. Businesses left because the customers left. After decades of decay the last I heard they were considering making it a roadway again."

Commented "I assume it would cost millions of $ and people will still cross in areas they shouldn't. Why are there sidewalks along the Parkway? Remove the sidewalks and fence it like they do along major highways or accept the fact that people will still cross it and die."

Commented "I have 2 properties in La Pine I replaced one well a year ago and now the other one is running dry. My next door neighbor is dry also. One solution would be community water districts and pipe water from a deep central well or the Little Deschutes instead of $10,000 for a well every 10 years."

Commented "Why is healthcare so expensive? I'm 78 when I was young we paid everything out of pocket. No insurance. Now every dollar spent is shared between doctors, hospitals, coders etc. And of course millions of share holders in the insurance and health industry."
